street noiselimited breakfast
The hotel was fine, I guess. My room faced a busy street, and I heard noise all night. It was not very relaxing. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and the food quality wasn't great. The juice tasted artificial. The bread seemed stale, and the coffee was WEAK.

i noticed some minor wear and tear in the bathroom, but it didn't impact my stay much.

fantastic city stay!

local attractionsbreakfast buffetred ants
the location is great as it is close to local attractions. i could easily walk to the waterfront in about 10 minutes, carpenter street and india street in 15 minutes, and the borneo cultures museum in approximately 25 minutes. it is convenient that there is a 7-11 and a mini-mart nearby. i enjoyed a good variety of western and local options at the breakfast buffet.
my room's fridge wasn't working properly, but a technician fixed it promptly. the next morning, i discovered some tiny red ants in the bathroom sink and around the toilet bowl. although i requested an upgrade, it was not possible unless i paid extra for it.
